Living the high life in Vegas baby!

I was offered an amazing opportunity with work in March. And that was the chance to go to the MillerCoors national convention in Las Vegas! Alright, so maybe I am a dork but the convention itself was awesome! Great moral booster speeches, top of the line innovation, sneak peeks at the newest marketing campaigns, and of course every one's favorite...product sampling! But most of that is hush hush so let's skip to the celebrities and the product sampling.

If I had to choose an all time favorite "extremely affordable" beer of choice it would hands down be Miller High Life. I like to think that I'm living the high life everyday. I'm fortunate enough to have a super supportive family, an amazing group of close friends, a job that challenges me but I never dread walking into each day, and an overall healthy attitude about life. So if you've ever seen a Miller High Life commercial....and I'm sure you have....here is Windell

But as it turns out Windell wasn't the only celebrity hanging around. Keith Stone the original smooth operator from the new Keystone Light commercials decided to make an appearance with his kick ass camero. I even cheers him with his smooth beer of choice, Keystone Light.

Next, who else would you expect to run into in Vegas but a very tall woman dressed like a glitter bumblebee and wearing roller skates. OK so this girl isn't a celebrity. In fact I didn't even catch her name. But who cares. Did I mention she was dressed like a bumblebee?! With all this glitter she fit right in.

This took me the twangy end of the beer scale. (Not exactly a beer but a flavored malt beverage but who's counting.) The Sparks Lemon Stinger tasted just like a twangy lemonade or perhaps a lemon jolly rancher with fizz. If you stop to think about it you will already know this fact... Here are the FACTS: beverages in this Flavored Malt Beverage category are constantly coming out with the new "hot" flavor of the season. Some of the current "in" flavors are Lemonade, Pomegranate, Mango, and mixtures like Cranberry and Lime.

Now in all fairness I was at a MillerCoors convention so along with all the other brands I have mentioned it is obvious that I consumed quite a few Miller Lites; more specifically in their new and improved Aluminum pint bottles! Again, I say I was very fortunate to be able to go to this convention. I stayed awake for nearly 3 days and hit most of the high spots of Vegas. I enjoyed great company, excellent food, walked on the strip, gambled just enough to be dangerous, and lost all track of time and whether it was day or night! If only we could have made it to Pawn Stars...

(Oh and by the way I won an iphone for my ideas on how to promote responsible drinking!):)
